Our client, a local shipping and logistics company in the Cargo and Warehouse sector is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate for the position of Cargo and Warehouse Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calculate and process duty or any other relevant taxes and advise clients on import and export restrictions.
• Manage imports and allocate accurate Import Licenses.
• Capture and manage client information for accurate and timely order processing.
• Process client export or import package details to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Manage shipment tracking, trace orders, and packing list upon consignment arrival.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Maintain exceptional customer relationships.
• Manage relationships with international warehouse personnel and maintain open communication lines.
• Develop, implement, and monitor consignment security and overall procedures for inventory management, as well as Warehouse Safety and Compliance Regulations.
• Actively participate in and plan job improvement exercises, including but not limited to staff development programs for the Warehouse Team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Cargo Handling/Logistics Diploma is preferred.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, freight forwarding, customs processes, and warehousing is non-negotiable.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and solutions.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Office Management Systems.
• 3 years of experience in cargo handling, logistics, and warehousing.
• Class 2 Driver’s License is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cargo handling techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of relevant local, regional, and international regulations governing cargo handling, transportation, and warehousing.
• Exceptional supervisory, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork and cargo documentation.
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding Performance Expectation.
